My name is Kate Yiannacou, and I'm a Declutter Coach and Professional Organiser who has been trained by and is a member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers, and have been since 2021.
As an APDO member, I always work within their code of ethics which for me means that confidentiality, honesty, and professionalism will always be at the heart of how I work.
I am also certified in Professional Organising and Decluttering by the Centre of Excellence.
I completed my Carbon Literacy training in 2022 having realised that ‘eco-guilt’ was a huge barrier to so many when trying to declutter. I support my clients with a taking more sustainable approach to decluttering by providing options for rehoming and recycling as much clutter as possible to minimise their environmental impact.
I have also completed 'ADHD for Professional Organisers' training programme (run by Sarah Bickers of Free Your Space) to help me understand more about the unique needs and challenges faced by my clients with ADHD.
And I am DBS-checked and able to work with children and families to support everyone in their decluttering journey.
Every client is different, and there is no fixed single approach to decluttering or organising that will work for everyone. So I bring an open mind and a broad skill set to meet my clients where they are and help them move forward.
